Beach Volleyball & Camel Toe

Electrolux: new building at Sutton Park.

Friday I'm in the planning workshop "Living at Sutton Park" competition. Unfortunately, turned out the title of the event as a sham. The plans have already been forged, in the form of four rough drafts for redevelopment of the vacant building for years Electrolux.

A revitalization of the block and the adjacent Bertha-von-Suttner-park is important and right. But the focus of planning workshop
not stand the social, but only the architectural integration into the quarter. If you can talk to what awaited me there, public participation, this did come too late.

- improved transition from Wohlerspark to the Bertha-von-Suttner-Park

did not like what?
- at least five-story building facing the park
- seven storey Building on the corner of Holsten Street / Sutton Road and the park (near Holstenplatz)
- perceived diminution of the park and less light
- too high and dense development of the courtyards

What was required?
- better social integration into the quarter
- Commercial and social places on public land
- future former citizenship
- citizen participation in the redesign of the park
- lower and more open buildings to the park

The conversion of commercial space in rented housing and the high buildings are well resolved. Whether one or the other request the participants in the further planning is taken into account, we can safely assume at the next event to note.
